I consider myself a disciplined runner, who enjoys training runs most of the time regardless of weather, road or trail conditions or the time of the day. At this point I gained enough experience to prepare my own weekly training plan.
Nevertheless, I feel more confident and prepared going into a race when properly coached.
There are not many choices for running hilly trails in the New York area. Bear Mountain is only a 40 minutes drive from Manhattan. The trails are technical but enjoyable. If you can run on this trails, you’re read to run on any trail. See for yourself on YouTube:
